Haiti Orphans Fundraising Benefit

For UNICEF’S EMERGENCY RESPONSE IN HAITI

SATURDAY, JANUARY 30
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM
THE METROPOLITAN CLUB HOUSE
94401
338 SOUTH FREMONT STREET, SAN MATEO

All of us own a few things at home that we have not seen,
touched, or used in the last 12 weeks. Studies show if you have
not associated yourself with an item for that long, you don’t even
remember you have it. Next thing you know, you barely have any
space to maneuver in your living room.

Well, this is an opportunity to clear up some clutter and start a
lighter new year for a good cause. Bring what you want to get rid
of, new or used, but still perfectly functional and in mint
condition to our community fair, donate them to the fair, and
shop for other items that suit your current need for below
suggested retail price.

Each donated item will be priced at $5, $10, or $20. 100% of
money raised will be donated to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, which
is absorbing all associated administrative costs so that 100% of
every dollar we give will support UNICEF’s relief efforts for
children in Haiti. Many of these children have become orphans
from the recent devastating event.

At the end of the day, we will donate the entire sum online to
UNICEF and if you leave us your email at the door, we will send
you a copy of the receipt.

Look for our signage with multi-colored balloons.
