We are finally ready to take orders on next years calendar! We have a sample calendar available for viewing during morning mysore class. If you can’t come see it, it is 8″x10″ on heavy stock (heavier than this year’s) with a wire binding and a hole punched for hanging.

Each calendar will be $21.50. We will be accepting orders until the end of November, and then making our order. Calendars should be available about a week later. Payment in advance with a check is preferred.

This Friday morning (Nov. 9) I’m presenting a special 50 minute “Therapeutic Ashtanga” sequence. You can link to info here http://www.ashtangayogadaily.com/specialmoondayclass.htm

This will be helpful for everyone. Beginners, those needing to modify, or those beginning the Intermediate series looking for a shorter Primary practice.

Since it is the moonday, the focus will be on a kinder-gentler Ashtanga- see you there!

The Yoga Workshop in Boulder, CO is now keeping a blog. They’ve recently posted a studio talk given by Sri Richard Freeman. http://ywblog.pearlsanga.org/obstacles-to-yoga-talk-01-the-field-of-ignorance-oct-21/

With the photos it feels like sitting with the wordsmith himself.
What do you think about his take on Obstacles?

Also, Sri Robert mentioned that NPR recently had a little feature on yoga in Mysore (even a shout-out to Guruji) listen here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=15876262

all for now,
Adarsh
