Hello all,

Our little one is slowly expanding inside of me and has moved into the final stage of the pregnancy. It’s time for me to cut back on some of my teachings starting November 1st. I will continue to teach the Sunday Mysore class for as long as I can but on weekdays Adarsh will be assisted by Beata, Mojdeh and Parhana.

November 1st is right after the David Roche workshop and Parhana will be there on Mondays + Wednesdays and Mojdeh on Tuesdays + Thursdays. When Beata gets back from her trip to India (which will be early February) she will take over the Tuesdays from Mojdeh.

Love to you all, Heleen

About Salsamania Dance Company:
Salsamania Dance Company has become one of the world’s top mambo dance companies in just six years. Founded in 2000 by John Narvaez and Liz Rojas, Salsamania is the #1 Dance Team in the Bay Area for five years running. They are also currently ranked number three in the world. In addition, Salsamania is the only dance company to field two different teams for the World Salsa Championships this coming December.
Narvaez and Rojas have honed teaching techniques which give users a building block approach, thereby enabling students to learn and progress rapidly. Rojas and Narvaez, as well as members of Salsamania Dance Company, use these methods to teach over 400 beginner and intermediate students per week in community centers, night clubs, and dance studios throughout the Bay Area.

A 30 minute interview with BKS Iyengar on CNN Talk Asia. He’s rather friendly here. I found the bit about his first trip to the US especially interesting. The clip begins with a 15 second commercial, then it will play through.
