Hello everyone,

From Sept 2 through Sept 22 Adarsh and I are away on a trip to Europe. The sub schedule for that time is as follows:

Beata:
Sunday Sept 2, 9 and 16 (with Dave assisting)
Tuesday Sept 4 and 18
Thursday Sept 6, 13 and 20

Mojdeh:
Monday Sept 3 (7:30 start), 10 and 17
Wednesday Sept 5, 12 and 19

Mojdeh also teaches the late morning Mysore classes on Monday and Thursday and Parhana will assist Beata and Mojdeh where neccesary.

We will start our first class again on Sunday September 23. Enjoy Beata, Mojdeh, Dave and Parhana’s teachings. We look forward to seeing you all on our return.

Hi all,

This Tuesday, August 28 is a moonday. There will be no Mysore class that day.

When Adarsh and I are back from our trip to Europe we will restart the Yoga Sutra study group. We plan to have it every other Sunday after class and will inform you on the first meeting once that’s finalised.

I would like to create a calendar of images of the mysore practice, for 2008, like I did for this year. This year, Mojdeh would like to help take some of the photos. We would like to take the photos over the next couple weeks, covering the last week of August and the first week of September. We will have a release for you to sign when you come into the class, or to indicate that you do not wish to have your image in the calender.

One of the things that made this years calendar special were the quotes. I would like to try it again this year, so if you could take the time to write down your thoughts about what makes this yoga practice special to you, and send them to me at david.n.hamilton@gmail.com, that will help to make this effort a success!

Thanks for your support for the calendar I worked on last year with Antonia and Wendy, and I hope that with your support we can make this one a success too.

UPDATE 8/13: ALL CLASSES HAVE RESUMED AS NORMAL

Wells Fargo bank, our tenant, decided to repave the concrete outside the studio, and the pour will take place tomorrow morning.

The Mysore-Style class will still take place, although it is recommended to arrive as early as possible. Doors will be open from 6:30am.

All the other classes (10, 11:30, 4, and 6) will be cancelled.

By Monday 8/13 the concrete should have set so classes will resume as usual.

We are sorry about this. We were not informed of the plan. We found out about it this morning as they were tearing up the concrete during the morning classes.

Hello all,

This upcoming Sunday, August 12, Mojdeh will teach the Mysore class. It is technically a moonday but we are still running the class as usual so come and enjoy her teachings.

The Sutra discussion group will not meet this moonday but more on the schedule for meetings is coming soon.
